Sennheiser utilized their transducer technology within the G4ME ZERO headset, this allows for the headset to produce the audio quality with extreme clarity and accuracy. Using the G4ME ZERO headset is exceptionally easy, as it is a plug and play device. It is as simple as plugging the 3.5mm headset and microphone cable into the corresponding port on your computer.

To begin, the overall comfort of the G4ME ZERO is excellent, you can immediately feel the multi-layer memory-padding bound within the leather on the ear cups. Similar to the U320 multi-platform gaming headset, Sennheiser has again outdone themselves in terms of comfort. Additionally, the XXL ear cups further add to the comfort of the G4ME ZERO, as one could almost forget that they are wearing the headset.

The noise blocking capabilities are quite exceptional considering the fact that they do not feature active noise cancellation. The noise blockers found on the outside of the headset effectively stop outside noise from being heard, which is noticed immediately after you try on the headset. Without any audio traveling through the ear cups, it was difficult to hear a person talking that was six feet away. It is clear why Sennheiser named this headset ‘ZERO’, as there is very little to no outside noise that will interfere with your gaming audio.

While speaking of zero, it is important to note that the G4ME ZERO has no breathability.  While the overall comfort of the headset remains at an elite level, the increasing warmth was noticed just after minutes of wearing the headset. It is understandable due to the design and noise blocking features of the G4ME ZERO, but adding even just a little bit of breathability to this gaming headset would set them very far apart from everyone else.

The G4ME ZERO has great diversity and is an excellent gaming headset for the professional gamer. It would be only too easy to sit down and play for hours on end with the G4ME ZERO. It is not yet available in Canada, but is available in the United States for $279.95, which comes with two years of warranty towards manufactures defects. The only word on when the G4ME ZERO AND G4ME ONE will be released in Canada is early in 2014.

The audio capabilities of the G4ME ZERO headset is excellent, as testing in not only a gaming environment, but also when listening to music and watching high definition videos proved it’s superior audio quality.
