Rosewill RHMS-13002 Dual Swing Arm Monitor Mount Review – Amazing Dual 27″ Monitor Mounting System

If you are in the hunt for a 24″ or below dual monitor desktop mount you are in luck as they have always been pretty easy to find.  Such has not been the case for dual 27″ monitors where, although one or two have been available, there has always been concerns with respect to appearance or construction, much less price if you approached high end solutions.  Rosewill has changed all that with their new RHMS-13002 Dual Swing Arm Monitor mount and just in time for the arrival of our two Korean 2560×1440 QNIX display monitors which we will have a separate review up for very shortly.

Parts

The RHMS-13002 is constructed of very high grade aluminum, contains a C clamp and center post, dual arm attachments, two seperate swivel arms on each side that attach to one another, as well as rear monitor mounts.  These mounts will fit VESA monitors that are up to 27″ and contain either 75×75 or 100×100 mounting points, or Apple 27″ LED Cinema displays.  The RHMS-13002 can support up to 44lbs, has a height adjustment of 10″, tilt angle adjustment of 105° with 360° pan, swivol and pivot.

Initial Setup

At the time of this report, Amazon pricing for the RHMS-13002 was typically about $200 and supply was very limited.  Installation is a breeze and shouldn’t even require one to look at the instructions (dare I say this) as everything fits together as you see it.  Clamp the C Clamp to the desk, slide on the center dual post retainer, slide on swing arms on each side, slide on the second swing arms, connect the VESA mounts to the monitor and slide the mount onto the swing arm ends.  Adjust to your liking and tighten with the included hex keys.

Things that we appreciate about the build and design of the RHMS-13002 include the smoothness and appearance of the aluminum, the fact that when the arm is slid over the post, there is a sliding latch that prevents it from coming off, and the fact that the center of the swing arms has been set up for convenient hiding of cabling.

Rosewill Mount Side View

It is great to finally see availability of a dual mount system where one feels comfortable that the money invested in two 27″ monitors isn’t going to go to waste through someones inadvertent contact with the mount.  Rosewill’s planning of this mount was obviously detailed and well thought out, and the end product leaves us believing that this is not only the best choice financially for a dual mount desktop system, but also, the only choice considering quality and the severe shortage of similar products available today.

  1. i love this and i would get it, but my desk is a glass top so there isn’t really a stable place to make it clasp to

  2. Just a quick heads up. The video linked is not the official NewEgg.com video but some guy who stole the exact same video from their channel and put it on his and monetized it. The actual NewEgg video is this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OsoepC2JODs
