International Samsung Galaxy Note II Users Getting Jelly Bean 4.1.2 Update

Good News Everyone!

The Samsung Galaxy Note II is receiving a new 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update!

Samsung has been pretty good lately at updating their phones, and keeping on track plans to update the Galaxy Note II powerhouse gradually with a nice 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update just in time for the holidays… well for our international friends at least. Currently, Poland is the first to receive updates and users in Sweden have been lucky as well. Sadly there is little to no information as to when the 4.1.2 update will be heading to North America. It’s not Jelly Bean 4.2 but this should come as a welcome addition and fix a few bugs along the way. I hope they keep up this trend of updating firmware as quickly as possible since it’s something Samsung has always struggled with.

4.1.2 update news

New Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2 features include notification toggles and notification panel modification. In addition Multi-View and the brightness slider can now both be disabled. The Samsung Internet browser is a lot smoother as well, in conjunction with the Samsung on-screen keyboard getting an Android Swipe-like interface (seemingly like that of the Nexus 4). Finally, there is a new ink effect on the lockscreen as well as a new Group Cast app via Samsung’s app store.
