For today’s build we have decided to show the true beauty of the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv Tempered Glass Edition by building a hard tube liquid cooling system courtesy of Thermaltake.
Amazing isn’t it?! Running the LED strip along the front front side allowed a beautiful highlight of the internal set up especially with the white colour of the LED set up. Gave it that daylight glow. The LED options however aren’t full RGB and limit you to a set amount of colours but they hit the necessary key colours.
Building with the Evolv was great everything fits nicely as far as main components goes. We ran into some issues when we started getting into the hard tube liquid cooling kit. Given thickness of our Pacific RL280 Radiator and add on the two Riing 140mm fans we were unable to utilize the opening to the bottom panel to house our Pacific PR22-D5 silent pump/reservoir assembly there. We ended up having to get creative and as you can see mounted it along the back panel in the honeycomb meshing. With our set up this was the ONLY way we could make this set up work, including having to bend our tubing up and over the cross-bracing in the top and removing the top fan mount. 
Now, this is no fault to Phanteks as you can use smaller parts or separate pump and reservoirs that way you can have the reservoir take up less space and the pump hidden on the included bottom bracket but that will also make hard tubing more complicated to manipulate around the chassis and you’ll be better off going with soft tubing. Regardless, we made it work and we hope you think it looks as great as we do.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Overall, the tempered glass edition of the Enthoo Evolv is amazing. It’s been long awaited and we are extremely happy to announce it’s arrival. The TG edition came in at $250 on Amazon at the time of this review which is a considerable step up from the $180 for the regular Evolv. I own this case. Just got done with my 6700K build and put an Asus Z170 Formula in it. Everything attaches to the Asus Aura lighting, all the LEDs and the I put an Asus Strix OC 1080 in it so the lighting for that also is Aura connected. The case is so well made it will last forever. If you get a Phanteks Case spend a bit more (179.00USD) and make it the Tempered Glass Edition.
