The unsung hero, the one without praise yet possessing the knowledge that those who shine above them are nothing without them. The foundation of every build is the PSU and whether is often overlooked in the long run or just simply out-shined by it’s fancy counter-parts, it’s presence is essential and it’s performance is priority.
Today we are going to introduce and unbox with you the Enermax Revolution XtII 750W PSU.
PACKAGING, PRICING & SPECIFICATIONS
The Rev XtII comes in a retail ready packaging that is a black box with the need-to-know particulars highlighted. On the top-side you’ll see it’s 750W rating as well as the Gold 80+ standard and a picture of the PSU’s fan side. Flipping over to the backside you’ll get a more in-depth look at the specs not just for the 750 but down to their 450 model.
When you look over the the cables chart on the right you’ll see the only difference is in the 2×6+2P PCI-E slot the 650 & 750 have two of these for the scenario you have multiple VGA or one that requires two ports. Other stand out points are their HeatGuard, Hybrid cable-design and the twister bearing fan rocking minimal noise with longevity in lifetime.
Openging the box you’ll see the PSU wrapped in thin layered bubble wrap. two boxes one to the top and one to the right keep the PSU snug as well and house the contents. The box to the right houses the built-in cables (Motherboard & CPU) as well as the power cord for the PSU. The top box contains a storage bag for the remaining removable cables (VGA, PCI, etc.) Taking everything out of the box this is what you’ll have to work with!
The 750W version of the Rev X’t II is going to come in around the $120 mark which puts it right around where we would expect a 750 of this standard to land.
