iBaby M6S Monitor Review

A while back you may recall we did a review on a home/baby monitoring system called “The Helmet” earlier this year. A 1080 HD monitor with both motion and sound detection with infrared capabilities to keep the security going through the evening hours. The newest in this ever upgrading technology is branded under “iBaby” and is their model “M6S“.

Big upgrades we were hoping to see in this from the “Helmet” were the ability to connect using 5G as well as larger availability for storage as the Helmet had a max storage of 32GB MicroSD card.

PACKAGING, CONTENTS & PRICING

iBaby has packaged the M6S up in a cube box with details and information a plenty of information to get a firm grasp of the product before you choose to take it home.

Some of the most stand out features of the M6S are the air monitor, temp & humidity monitor as well as our awaited 5G connectivity. As you can see from the box itself the unit is quite stylish.

To open the box you’ll lift the top cover off of the hidden base which will expose the unit.iBaby monitorThe M6S definitely has a unique look to it. Included with the unit also are a manual, the base and the power cable.

As you can see the plug has a removable head which tells us there will be additional or different options available dependent on your geographical location.

At the time of this review the iBaby M6S was available on Amazon for $229USD.

BUILD & SPECIFICATIONS

The unit itself is made of plastic shaped in a sphere, white in colour with the pink iBaby logo centered on the front of the unit. A second sphere protruding from the main body which houses the camera.

The Base it sits on is magnetically connected to keep the unit positioned properly.

iBaby monitorAt the bottom of the unit you’ll notice there are many holes. These will allow cooling of the unit as well as house speakers and sensors for the units features. In the center you’ll notice a rubber “USB” tab.
