TESTING AND RESULTS

Ambient environmental temperatures during time of testing hovered around 15 degrees celsius. For noise testing, the decibel meter was set about a foot away from the built system.

As we can see, these are some excellent results. The Define XL R2 just falls short of beating out the Cooler Master HAF-X. The soundproof layer is excellent, but it is not uniform around the chassis, hence there is some noise produced. There is also the tradeoff between it and extended heat. Overall however, there is a nice balance between low heat and low noise output.
