ZOTAC Showcases New GeForce GTX 980 Ti Series – Computex 2015 Update

Computex 2015 is well underway, and Technology X is here in Taipei, Taiwan, to experience the event. First up on our list through the Nangang Exhibitions Halls is ZOTAC.

Released on June 1st, 2015, ZOTAC was showcasing their handmade models of their new Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 Ti Series, comprised of a few different models.

The first model is the simple, ZOTAC GeForce GTX 980 Ti AMP! Edition, which is your entry level ZOTAC GPU model. This is factory overclocked and features ZOTAC’s IceStorm cooling design.

Going to the next step up, ZOTAC displayed the GTX 980 Ti AMP! Omega, which is slightly different from the entry level edition. This GPU features ZOTAC’s new EKO Fan that forces air into the unusable centre space of the fan blade. The Omega edition also features ZOTAC’s POWER BOOST technology, this allows for more consistent performance, while reducing power fluctuations. This is perfect for overclocking!

Next we move to the more powerful GTX 980 Ti AMP! Extreme Edition, truly designed for a more powerful overclocking experience. The Extreme Edition features the EKO fan blades, as well as POWER BOOST and LED illumination, all of which add to a truly more extreme experience.

Finally, ZOTAC displayed a hybrid cooling design for the GTX 980 Ti, with the Arctic Storm. The Arctic Storm features both their air cooling and liquid cooling designs, which essentially creates the ultimate cooling experience, and for more intensive GPU overclocking. We can expect to see the ZOTAC’s GTX 980 Ti graphics cards in stores within a few weeks, while pricing is still yet to be seen.

Moving away for their graphics cards, we saw ZOTAC’s new ZBOX Mini PC’s and SteamBox. ZOTAC had a variety of different Mini PC’s on display, with their traditional PC’s built with Intel architectures, or branching our with AMD builds, even displaying their recently introduced SteamBox SN970, with a gorgeous design and fully capable of gaming right out of the box.

Introduced here at Computex, ZOTAC showcased the MA760 Mini PC, which is based upon the AMD FX-7600 APU. This allows for a 2×2 screening area and in total a 4K display, all using the four DisplayPort Outputs.

ZOTAC had a lot to showcase, from their graphics cards to their Mini PC’s, which we can genuinely see that there are great things coming down the pipeline in a short time. Stay tuned for more coverage of Computex 2015!
