With most internet providers now installing modems into households with multiple Ethernet ports and WiFi connectivity, many people have forgotten about the power and usefulness of having a router around the house. Routers are a great way to add more Ethernet ports allowing more LAN connections eliminating any problems with a poor/weak WiFi signal. As well, with external antennas and more powerful processors and ram, WiFi signals produced by routers can greatly improve the coverage of one’s household. With so many benefits of having a router alongside a modem, it just comes down to what you really need and what you want to pay. Tenda has been in the router business for many years now and have created many different products to compliment any user’s desires. Today we are going to be looking at Tenda’s AC9 AC1200 Wifi Router. With an easy to swallow price tag of only $70 and a fantastic 3-year warranty, this might be the exact router you are looking for.

On the back of the router you will find the power input, WPS button, WiFi button, reset button, 5 Gigabit Ethernet ports, a USB 2.0 jack, and as always the password/login info sticker. The AC9 AC1200 Wifi Router features 5 full Gigabit Ethernet ports, four of which are Gigabit LAN for connecting your computers, game consoles and other devices, and one Gigabit WAN to connect your router to your modem.
The router has been designed to elegantly suit any workplace or household environment it is placed in, but has one small set back. With only the option to lay it flat or attach the removable stand, there is no way to mount this router to the wall. While only a small inconvenience for most, it should still be mentioned.
