BIOSTAR has released their latest skylake motherboard that features a DDR4 and DDR3 combo solution. This is a little bit of an upgrade from what we saw at Computex 2015, when we got to see the H170Z3.
As we know, BIOSTAR’s Hi-Fi motherboard provides outstanding audio performance. With the Z170Z5, it uses an independent power delivery system that significantly reduced electronic noise.
Another kicker is that BIOSTAR’s Z170 Hi-Fi motherboard’s are equipped with combo memory. The Z170Z5 features support for either DDR3 or DDR4 memory modules with 2-DIMM DDR3L-1866(OC)/1600/1333 for up to a 16GB maximum capacity and 2-DIMM DDR4-2133/1866 for up to a 32GB maximum capacity.
