Right out of the box, the Yantouch Black Diamond 3 speaker system looks absolutely beautiful. The plastic spherical shape with a shiny see-through crystalline shell is a testament to its name, and fits perfectly within any aesthetic setting.
Moving to the back we have two slots – the smaller one on top for housing cables, and the larger bottom one for the wireless remote:
Right below that we have the mini-USB power input:
On the bottom of the BD3’s we have a black rubber grip coating to provide extra hold and prevent slipping from an already glossy exterior.
The holding slots and surface grip are excellent additions for ease of portability, but unfortunately as you may have guessed, the BD3’s are not meant to be completely portable. There is no internal battery, hence the device is dependent on an external power source, may it be a USB port or power outlet.
Both sides of the BD3 feature neodymium (Nd2Fe14B) loudspeakers for a total 2.1 Bluetooth sound experience. Instead of conventional iron-ferrite magnet speakers, Yantouch decided to use the Neo super-magnet which aptly follows a tetragonal 3D crystalline structure. The main advantage of neodymium is the ability to produce lighter-weight drivers compared to the much heavier iron-ferrite. Furthermore, the magnets are also much stronger, allowing for a more powerful/high-performance output quality.

Hi, Mr. Quyang. My husband loves music and gadgets. So for Christmas 2 years ago, my kids and I decided to give him the diamondblack 3. He loved it and still uses it until a week ago. My 18 year old son had friends over a week ago and thought it would be cool to use the blackdiamond3. The charger went missing after the party and my husband is pissed. He wants my son to replace the charger. But he won’t accept nothing but the same charger as the original. My son has been searching online everyday for the same charger but has been unsuccessful. Can you please suggest where we can get one so we can have peace in our household again. Thank you very much. Lmdlpk
Hey there,
You can use any mini-USB cable for it, it doesn’t have to be the original. It’s the same design and spec as all of the others.
I can try and get you the original if you really want it, but there is not point to be honest since any mini-USB will work.

Is bluetooth speakers are suitable for high base and high volume usage with pc. Without affecting the quality because I have not seen these kind of speakers in Best 2.1 Speakers list.
