SureCall EZ 4G Home Cellular Signal Booster Review

PERFORMANCE & TESTING

To be honest, we have had this unit for much longer than we normally hold on to before publishing our review. Why is that? We knew we would need to test it in a variety of means and places in order to get a true taste of it’s capabilities. We were not disappointed.

How did we go about testing? Via two means:

The first test was a simple as placing a telephone call. We would see if clarity was affected by any means.

The second test was using Ookla’s SpeedTest to see how are data was affected.

While this unit was tested in multiple locations across Southern Ontario, Canada. We managed to find the “black-holes” of the regions where signal seemed non-apparent. We even took it to cottage country, where everyone know what cell signal is like there – TERRIBLE!

TEST LOCATIONS

The maps below shows the two locations where we test the SureCall EZ 4G. If you research Ontario cellphone providers (I.e., Bell, Telus, Rogers and Wind), you will see that all of them state that coverage is plentiful in these two regions. In all actuality and practicality, cell coverage is flaky in these locations.

Starting off with voice calls, this test was a mute one at that. It was difficult to hear any difference in clarity at the Fenwick location. However, while at Sauble Beach, we noticed that the “Can you hear me now?!” saying occurred much less frequently after the installation of the SureCall EZ 4G.

The results of Ookla’s SpeedTest are phenomenal. Our testing methods were simple, run the test before and after setting up the SureCall EZ 4G. The device undoubtedly boosted cell signal and increased throughput.
