Fractal Design has announced the newest member of the Arc family – the Arc Midi R2. Known for excellent airflow, the Arc Midi R2 continues the tradition, maximizing circulation within the case and keeping even the most demanding systems cool.
The sleek, minimalistic mid-tower ATX chassis comes equipped with three high-performance Silent Series R2 fans, including support for large radiators for water-cooling. With dimensions of 230x460x515, the Arc Midi R2 can house PSU’s up to 270mm, CPU coolers up to 180mm, and GPU’s as long as 430mm.
Two 5.25″ expansion bays grace the front, along with seven PCI expansion slots in the back. The hard-drive area cages eight 3.5″ drives within the Arc Midi R2, which are split in a 5+3 rotatable and removal design for maximum configuration. Two additional 2.5″ drives can also be accommodated behind the motherboard area.
Furthermore, the chassis comes complete with a stylish window side panel, fan controller, easy to clean dust filters, high level of workmanship, flexible hard drive mounting system, four aluminum-covered rubber stands and plenty of space for cable routing via thick rubber grommets.
The Arc Midi R2 will be available starting March 2013 with a price-tag of $109.95.
