Configuring the BD3 is pretty straightforward. The devices works for any device that is equipped with Bluetooth, including desktop PCs and laptops. Phones, tablets, and media players of course are the target devices.
The remote is well laid out, and the accompanying quick-start guide goes over the functions:
As a brief outline, the remote has the usual volume control, power on/off, forward, rewind, play/pause, stop, and Bluetooth connect buttons. It also controls the various lighting effects and modes. It does all of this on any device whether it be via Bluetooth or the 3.5mm analog audio jack, and on all types of playable media and streaming services (such as YouTube and SoundCloud to name two examples).
The bright LED maelstrom of colours is where the Black Diamond 3 is absolutely stunning. It comes in a few different modes, the first one being a standard cycling between different colours. The solid colours transition from one to the other in a five-second interval.
The second is a multicoloured array that can either react to music, or transition slowly as the first mode. The colours remain the same and shine throughout, but will shine brighter when certain notes are hit.
The last mode is a complete reactionary mish-mash of which there are three additional sub-modes – one colour, two, or more than three.

Hi, Mr. Quyang. My husband loves music and gadgets. So for Christmas 2 years ago, my kids and I decided to give him the diamondblack 3. He loved it and still uses it until a week ago. My 18 year old son had friends over a week ago and thought it would be cool to use the blackdiamond3. The charger went missing after the party and my husband is pissed. He wants my son to replace the charger. But he won’t accept nothing but the same charger as the original. My son has been searching online everyday for the same charger but has been unsuccessful. Can you please suggest where we can get one so we can have peace in our household again. Thank you very much. Lmdlpk
Hey there,
You can use any mini-USB cable for it, it doesn’t have to be the original. It’s the same design and spec as all of the others.
I can try and get you the original if you really want it, but there is not point to be honest since any mini-USB will work.

Is bluetooth speakers are suitable for high base and high volume usage with pc. Without affecting the quality because I have not seen these kind of speakers in Best 2.1 Speakers list.
