REPORT ANALYSIS AND FINAL THOUGHTS
Let’s face it, in today’s world we want two things when it comes to storage, faster than fast and as cheap as possible. Intel has done pretty much that, we now are faced with a storage drive that can easily boast sequential read speeds well upwards of 2 GB/s and the kicker really comes in when you think that you can have this for just less than $1 per GB.
Is there anything wrong with this drive, you may ask? Well, technically, no. You could say that the only real flaw with the Intel 750 is the lack of support for legacy devices. On the other hand, if you are shopping for a solid state drive such as this one, more than likely you already have a system that supports the UEFI requirements.
Honestly, this drive has been a pleasure to review. It’s not often something comes across your desk that takes you aback and you think ‘wow’, especially when we are in the industry of looking for components that do just that. It would not do this drive justice if we did not award it with our Editor’s Choice Award, the Intel 750 PCIe SSD is set to tear apart the markets and rightfully so!
