The rage of red, the calm of blue or the elegance of purple, which do you choose? Lucky enough our new keyboard from Accessory Power can illuminate your keyboard with all three.
We are going to take an in-depth look at the GX-K3. From the moment you see this product you’ll be intrigued. The slick, predominantly black box has just enough colour and pattern to draw your gaze to the packaging’s focal point, the beautifully purple lit GX-K3.
ENHANCE GX-K3 KEYBOARD COMPONENTS
Taking the GX-K3 out of the box you’ll immediately notice that this keyboard has a little more weight to it than your average. At first that may seem a little excessive, but once you plug it in and find its spot on your desk, it’s solid. It doesn’t budge easily and under the strain of an intense online gaming session you’ll be less likely to miss the key or move the keyboard out-of-place due to the rubber grips placed on the bottom.Coming in at 44 cm by 14 cm, combined with a sleek aluminum based body and weighted metal back panel, you’re sure to love the feel of the GX-K3. We did notice however when you extend the back legs of the keyboard there are no rubber ends so the keyboard slips and slides a little easier in its “tilt” position. This is due to only the front having grips touching your desk.
Connecting this keyboard to your computer you’ll notice the braided cord. We are always a fan of braided cords, they look cool, feel cool and just give you a better appreciation for the product. Giving you 165 cm to work with to, allows you the freedom to place the board almost anywhere on the desk space. We moved ours around to many different spots and it reached anywhere we could think of, within reason of course. The 104 hybrid keys give you that great tactile feel for outstanding typing comfort. As we do with all our keyboard reviews, we write the review with the keyboard and this one is going great. We did also notice that the lack of palm rest can make typing for long periods a little uncomfortable, but that is one of the sacrifices we have come to learn to expect when you are trying to save space and make a smaller board.
It is equal size to the regular letter keys and takes an extended pinky reach to click. This takes your hand completely out of position and slows down typing. The keys are also easily removable so cleaning this peripheral is easy.
