We previously took an in-depth look at the Ozone Neon Precision Laser Gaming Mouse with the Lepton Rigid Mouse Pad, but we were only missing one item that would set us up for any gaming session, a headset. Today, we have the opportunity to take a detailed look at another Ozone Gaming Gear peripheral, Ozone Rage 7HX 7.1 Surround Headset. Let’s take a closer look!
The packaging looks great, as it should in order to grab the initial gaze when set on the shelf next to the vast amounts of gaming headsets out there. With its detailed red and black shell and the side cut outs you can see the sharp looking headset matching the colours of the box. The box front not only visually advertises the headset itself, but down the center it highlights the points according to Ozone, such as being enabled for Surround Sound, featuring an ergonomic design with extra larger ear cushions and a detachable microphone.
Turning the box to the rear you see a picture of the headset, while outlining features with a little more detail then the front. Also adding the inline Remote Control (IRC) as well as basic specifications for the headset in ten languages.
When you empty the box you’ll first pull out the headset itself which is fit snuggly into the red plastic holder.
The software disc, detachable microphone and manuals will probably fall out the back as you do so.
The headset is appealing to the eye with its matte black color and red design. Embossed with Ozone between the bottom two cut outs on each ear.
