Thermaltake TTeSports Ventus Gaming Mouse Review

The selection of gaming peripherals continues to grow at a steady pace. Thermaltake, whose TTeSports product line is geared towards gamers, have brought several new mice to market in recent months. Today we have on hand for review ThermalTtake’s TTeSports Ventus gaming mouse.

The VENTUS gaming mouse by Thermaltake comes with its own carrying case, stickers to add to your collection and an excellent 2 year warranty. At $49.99 USD, this represents a great value, and a good addition to any causal gamer’s arsenal.

MOUSE DESIGN

The VENTUS mouse is designed with a soft arc from front to back, and is narrow enough to be comfortable for a user with small hands.  Keeping everyone in mind, the VENTUS is made to be adaptable to right-handed or left-handed users.  It has a nice black matte finish and the honeycomb surface allows the glowing red logo to shine through. The honeycomb surface has a second feature, in that it allows airflow, keeping your hand cool and dry. Slight pressure is required when using the buttons, but overall the mouse feels durable and well made.

When you flip the mouse over there is a small panel that you can open to change the weight of the mouse. Inside there are three 4.5 gram weights which can be added or removed to tailor the preference of any user.  in evaluating this product, we tried every combination of weights until we found the right combination for our needs.

MOUSE  SPECIFICATIONS

The braided cable keeps the cord tangle-free,  and when you take off the Velcro tie, the 1.8 meter long cable smooths out very well.  The mouse glows red in three places: the left-click button, the scroll wheel and the dragon symbol under the honey comb arc of the mouse.
