At the pre-CES 2013 keynote press conference, Samsung announced a new version of the Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet, now data-capable with 4G Verizon LTE and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
My review of the Galaxy Note 10.1 was not totally positive, but considering the demographic of users for this particular device, the move for a data-enabled tablet is important and makes sense. Just by this small addition, it gives the Galaxy Note 10.1 massive appeal, especially for those heavily involved in business. Now users are not restricted by WiFi, and it really makes the Galaxy Note 10.1 a bigger Galaxy Note II (but without a phone, of course).
Samsung did not reveal a price or release date for this new tablet flavour, but expect the announcement to come very soon.
