EVGA Shows off the New 980 Kingpin and Gaming Mice – CES 2015 Update

Our journey through CES 2015 continues as EVGA was proud to show a new GPU and a few new Gaming mice and we are proud to show them to you. Take a look!

EVGA GTX 980 KINGPIN

EVGA’s soon to be released flagship graphics card, the Kingpin come as somewhat of a surprise as other manufacturers such as MSI won’t be bringing out flagships like the Lightning, saying that the GM204 chip is not worthy and is waiting for GM210, and its likely increased overclocking potential. It features ACX 2.0 with all black fans, PCB and capacitors are also blacked out.

As you can tell the PCB is very striking, you may also be able to tell that it has an extra 6Pin power connector, which is for, yep you guessed it, better overclocking. Unfortunately though, speeds have not been set as of yet.

One of the best things we liked about this card is the inclusion of 3 displayport connections as well as a HDMI and DVI connector. The card currently has no MSRP but will be released sometime in February this year.

EVGA HYDRO COPPER GTX 980

EVGA Also showed off their new EVGA GTX 980 AIO. It still includes the blower fan for cooling the VRM and other components, but we can speculate that the fan will be running at much lower speeds because of the lower overall GPU temps.

As you can see the card with the waterblock is your standard aio block. Pricing and availability should be set soon.

EVGA TORQ MICE

EVGA is also expanding their TORQ X series Gaming mice at a more budget friendly pricing. Bringing out the Torq series to a more manageable level with RGB Lighting and up to 8200DPI to 4000 DPI on the bottom end.

Pricing is expected to be at between $30 to $60 MSRP on these mice and should be out by 2nd Quarter 2015.
